Tom built Melville Wealth Management from scratch, watching it become a thriving small business with a great reputation. The core value has always been focussed on the provision of long term trusted advice which in many cases has now stretched across several generations within many families. Tweed Wealth acquired Melville Wealth Management in May 2017.
Chris & Ali, co-founders of Tweed Wealth Management first got to know Tom as fellow adventurers on many of the annual endurance challenges arranged to raise money for the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation. A friendship was born, forged on shared values and trust. It was on this basis that Tom was sure that his clients and his team would be able to continue to receive the service and respect they were used to and that he would be comfortable continuing as a financial planner without having to deal with the day to day running of a business.Specialism // Business Owners and City Professionals

Away from the office Tom enjoys playing golf and has a current handicap of 8. Tom also achieved 126 caps for Scotland playing hockey, although is sad to report that he has finally retired from playing hockey at veteran level. Always up for a sporting challenge, he is currently training for a 10 day Arctic trek across East Greenland in 2021. Tom is married to Sue and has two daughters, ages 28 and 30.
